Safety and protection 

If you have been a victim of crime, feeling safe is an important step in regaining your wellbeing.

To protect your safety both now and in the future you can take action to look after yourself, and also to report the crime and possibly have the accused arrested, charged and taken to court.

If you have been hurt you can receive medical treatment for your injuries. Even if you are not physically hurt you may feel bad or upset and need to talk to someone, or you may need support to recover from the crime. Look at our Help and support contacts page and also consider counselling.
