Victims Services' Victims Access Line (VAL) provides a single entry point for victims of crime in NSW to assist them in accessing services. You can call VAL during our business hours (8am to 6pm, Monday to Friday, exc public holidays). Should you call the Victims Access Line outside our business hours you will be provided with options to have your call transferred to other services to assist you.

During business hours victims of crime requiring support, information and referrals can speak to the Victims Services Support Coordination Team. Should you call the Victims Access Line outside our business hours you will be provided with options to have your call transferred to other services to assist you.

If you do not speak English well

Translating and Interpreting Service logo  you can call the Translating and Interpreting Service on 131 450.
State what language you speak. The operator will connect you to an interpreter who speaks your language. The TIS will organise for an interpreter in your language to be on the phone when you contact the helpline you need.

If you have a hearing or speech impairment

you can contact the Victims Access Line through the National Relay Service:
